Your assignments
  • Support commercial activities to ensure they meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) in line with business objectives
  • Understand the value drivers of the business to identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share
  • Collaborate closely with the regional commercial teams including Regional VPs, Country leads local sales, clinical and marketing teams to ensure that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) in line with business objectives
  • Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions
  • Lead the Clinical Manager(s) in the region to ensure clinical excellence and aligned educational approach
  • Understand market research and analysis and produce business plans/recommendations (including associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimised
  • Champion and lead each new product or service development, from innovation through to successful implementation across each business function, to enable it to become a core part of the business
  • Assess the risks to the business of any new commercial opportunities
  • Maintain an awareness of external factors (including competitors, pharmaceutical developments, government business initiatives, current and proposed legislation in relation to commercial activities) which impact the business. Develop and implement solutions to address these external factors. Communicate such information and any subsequent changes to the Home Vertical senior management team
  • Represent the Home Products Vertical externally e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to support the company’s profile and enhance business development opportunities
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments (e.g. Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Technical Services, Digital Services & Solutions, Global Medical Office, Care Delivery) to ensure that customer needs are met and that customer requirements are fully communicated throughout the business
  • Ensure good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers
Your profile
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar relevant work experience
  • Good spoken English as a pre-requisite, with a second language a plus. Credible communicator with excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Many years of experience working with different healthcare stakeholders (e.g. Physicians, Patients, Payors) within the EMEA region
  • Extensive managerial experience in strategic management and leadership across company functions directing substantial resources
  • Experience in Sales, General Management, and / or Commercial Operations
  • Proven track record as a business leader in growth, innovation, turn-around, and cost-cutting business environments
  • Strong international experience
  • A team player that builds and develops close relations and drives progress in a timely manner
  • Makes good quality decisions that help deliver business objectives
  • Proven strategic aptitude and excellent ability with forward planning
  • Managing ambiguity and operating effectively even when things are not certain
  • Ability to navigate multiple cultures and personalities
  • Expert negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent project management skills
